Batch has a couple of outlets, this one in Marrickville was their first brewery.
A constantly changing range of beers to enjoy.
No kitchen, but a pizza truck out the front on the day we visited.

Sauce Brewing Co is an independent microbrewery in Sydney’s inner-west.
A great choice of different craft beers, and a lovely place to sit and enjoy a beer on a weekend afternoon.
We went there with one of our sons – he assures us he’ll shout “next time.”
Modus Operandi

So this weekend we went to Crete.
At Narraweena, near the back of Dee Why.
Double Roasters is a specialty coffee roasters based in Marrickville.
Great coffee, great breakfast menu.
They also make Nespresso-compatible biodegradable pods!
Two Chaps makes everything from-scratch.
This cafe and bakery has a produce driven menu, and everything is made by hand daily.
Just down the road from The Henson Hotel.
Yay! Sydney has reached 80% double vaccinated so we were able to leave our LGA.
We called in here for a walk before catching up with our kids and their partners at the pub for lunch for the first catch-up in 4 months.

We visited the Cook Islands a few years ago. Loved it, so excited to re-visit.
The sea was quieter this time – very difficult to hear at all, unlike previously when the background lull of waves crashing on the reef 24/7 was beautiful!
