Waterloo Rd, North Ryde
Our daughter lived in London for a while, so it was only fitting that she joined us to revisit Waterloo – Waterloo Rd, although there IS a train station there at North Ryde.
It runs through Macquarie University, which has recently undergone a terrific facelift – a great place for the dog to enjoy a run.
Delhi Rd, Macquarie Park
The last time we were in Delhi, India was experiencing it’s wordt ever pollution.
A lt clearer today.
We started with a COVID legal take-away breakfast and ate that in the park before walking along the normally busy thoroughfare.

The last time we were in Constance, we awoke on our first morning to fresh snow.

Abbey St (Hunter’s Hill)
Things are starting to get a bit desperate with Sydney’s COVID 5km travel restrictions.
As we are stating to run out of streets names to visit nearby, we resorted to a bit of generic European holiday cheating!
Abbey St Hunter’s Hill backs on to St Joseph’s College sporting fields – eerily quiet during this period, and the ovals never in better shape.
Amalfi Place, Longueville
Longueville’s Amalfi Pl is down by the water.
A nice walk, with fewer stairs than our last Amalfi visit
Rue St Jacques
On our first ever European trip in 2013, Robyn and I flew in to Paris and stayed at an apartment on Rue St Jacques, midway between the Sorbonne and Notre Dame Cathedral.
(Stuart Greene, we will never forget that recommendation!)
We were like school children, giddy with excitement.
Paris didn’t disappoint.
This Jacques at Chatswood didn’t quite measure up, but hey, who can complain about a walk in the Sydney sunshine during a winter COVID lockdown.
(And yes, legal; Chatswood is within our 10kn travel bubble.)
The Cotswolds
Loved our first trip to the Cotswolds.
Last week we snuck in for a (legal/within 10km) visit.
Some amazing houses – anyone who knows Strathfield, just off The Boulevard, will know what I mean.
