The council has done a pretty good job at creating a walk along the Duck River. Level, wide, good access. Will be better when the river continues to get cleaned up, but until then… really?… people fishing? Glad I’m not going to his place for a BBQ!
Hunters Hill
Hunters Hill in spring and the Jacarandas are out. Just beautiful.
Meadowbank TAFE
Meadowbank TAFE’s main entrance is on Blaxland Road near Top Ryde Shopping Centre, but the property extends all the way down the hill. Entering from that bottom gate reveals a great place for a walk through the various TAFE areas.
Huskisson to Valencia
Holidays!
We walked the beachside path (no off leash) from Huskisson to Valencia and back.
4km level path.

FP
Forsythe Park at Neutral Bay, in the shade of Nth Sydney CBD

Clontarf
At Clontarf, opposite The Spit, a great dog friendly beach, before fish and chips at Manly.
Lane Cove West
Great off leash fenced dog areas, a dip in the Lane Cove River, a walk along the foreshore, a lovely walk through the industrial and residential streets.
Barangaroo
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the “Missing Link” at Barangaroo was opened, so we headed in to the city, excited to walk from Darling Harbour, past the new casino, all the way to Barangaroo Point.
Sadly, their definition of the missing link being opened and hours, differs. Some of the link is open, but until the new Metro station is completed, she’s not open.
We took this pic which is part of what’s been opened up. It’s been well done.

Walking from Wynyard to Barangaroo via the Wynyard (rail) link. Not keen on escalators!
Blackwattle Bay
Eastwood
A great walk through another part of Terrys Creek through Eastwood.
There’s a path connecting Fred Spurway Reserve and James Hoskin Reserve and Kilpack Park (The Ponds Creek.)
